Our Mission
The mission of Champion Accounting Solutions is to provide affordable support to small closely held businesses and not-for-profit entities. The purpose of Champion Accounting Solutions is to assist such organizations with their accounting, compliance and financial reporting needs so that their owners or directors can stay focused on their own mission and rest assured that the financial needs of their organization are being met by seasoned and trustworthy professionals at an affordable rate.
Our Team
Bernard R Towne, CPA
Bernard graduated from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and from the Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a Master’s degree in Accounting. He began his accounting career with Gallagher, Flynn & Co., LLP in Burlington, VT specializing in corporate audit and tax. He was also employed by the Denver accounting firm EKS&H LLLP where he worked his way to the position of manager in the assurance practice. While at EKS&H Bernard developed skills in small business advisory services and financial modeling while volunteering as a bookkeeper and financial consultant at several Denver area non-profit organizations. He left EKS&H in 2014 to found Champion Accounting Solutions. Bernard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to being a CPA, he holds several software certifications from the Intuit ProAdvisor program.
Sarah Yost
Sarah graduated with Honors from Mount Royal Academy in 2021. She enjoys singing at Saint Patrick’s Parish and in the Choral Group, Second Spring. She also enjoys painting, reading, dancing and spending time outside with her family.
